Four Things to Know About the Redesigned, 2020 Model

Considering a new, three-row SUV for your family drives? At Paul Miller Toyota, we know you have plenty of options to consider here in the great West Caldwell area. But we invite you to go back to the beginning with us, to one of first three-row contenders to hit the market, the stellar Toyota Highlander. Newly redesigned for 2020, there's a lot to know and appreciate about this longtime fan favorite.

With three rows of seating that can accommodate either seven or eight people, depending on the trim and configuration you go for, the 2020 Toyota Highlander has a lot to offer drivers in West Caldwell, and beyond.

Now entering its fourth generation, this topnotch crossover is giving us more of what we want in 2020, and we think our customers will really appreciate the latest, redesigned model, whether they're new to the Highlander lineup or have been fans for a long time.

Ready to learn more? Check out these four exciting 2020 updates for the Toyota Highlander, then hightail it in to our showroom to meet and test drive it in person:

  1. More cargo space. The 2019 Highlander had a nice amount of cargo room for New Jersey drivers, coming in at 13.8 cubic feet. But, the 2020 model increases space and gives us more, with 16 cubic feet of space available.
  2. New tech features. For the first time ever, Toyota has equipped with the Highlander with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. Not only that, but the carmaker has also increased the size and clarity of the standard touchscreen display, with a new, standard 8-inch screen and an optional 12.3-inch screen.
  3. Engine power. Where previous Highlander models started with a four-cylinder engine and had a more-powerful V6 available as an option on upper trims, the 2020 version offers standard V6 power across the board. The previous four-cylinder has been discontinued, in favor of a 295-horsepower, 3.5-liter V6 engine.
  4. New interior materials. The 2020 Toyota Highlander is now constructed with higher quality materials and premium design touches, adding to the overall quality and feel for this SUV.

When you're ready to meet the SUV that will take your family into 2020, and beyond, stop by and meet the Paul Miller Toyota sales team. We look forward to setting you up behind the wheel of this impressive SUV model.
